MISSISSAUGA

Staffing agency for Mississauga employers

Admin, accounting, customer service and logistics office staff, screened and shortlisted from our Brampton office, a short drive up Highway 410.

Staffira is a staffing agency based in Brampton that finds admin, accounting, customer service and remote staff for Mississauga employers. We source, screen and shortlist candidates, so you interview three or four people who fit the job instead of reading two hundred resumes.

Our office is at 181 Queen St E in Brampton, a short drive up Highway 410 from most of Mississauga. We meet employers in person when that helps and by video call when it doesn't. Candidates interview wherever suits you: at your site, online, or both.

Hiring in Mississauga is crowded

Mississauga has a lot of employers chasing the same people. Head offices around the Airport Corporate Centre and City Centre, distribution and logistics firms near Pearson and along Highways 401 and 407, professional firms in Meadowvale and Heartland, and a long list of family businesses all post for bookkeepers, receptionists and customer service reps in the same weeks. A good applicant often has two or three offers in hand by the time a busy owner gets to the interviews.

That is the gap we fill. We start sourcing as soon as the brief is agreed, screen people against the actual work, and keep you updated, so a strong candidate doesn't drift off while the posting sits in an inbox.

Roles we fill for Mississauga employers

  • Office and admin: receptionists, office administrators, executive and personal assistants, data entry
  • Accounting support: bookkeepers, accounts payable and receivable clerks, payroll assistants, accounting assistants
  • Customer service and sales support: inside sales, order desk, client coordinators, call and chat support
  • Logistics office roles: dispatch support, shipping and receiving coordinators, customs and billing clerks
  • Remote and hybrid staff for teams that work across the GTA, or across Canada and the U.S.

We don't place warehouse floor staff, drivers, trades or health care workers. If your opening is one of those, we will tell you so on the first call rather than send weak candidates.

Permanent, contract or remote

Permanent placement

You hire the person directly. We write the role with you, search, screen and shortlist, and you make the offer. This suits roles you expect to keep for years, like an office manager or a full-charge bookkeeper.

Contract staffing

For a busy season, a parental leave or a project with an end date. Year-end in an accounting firm or a peak shipping season at a Mississauga distributor are typical cases.

Remote and hybrid hires

Many admin, bookkeeping and customer service jobs no longer need a desk in your building. Hiring remotely widens the pool well beyond Peel Region, which helps when local candidates keep taking offers elsewhere.

Ontario hiring rules worth knowing before you post

Ontario changed its job-posting rules on 1 January 2026. If you have 25 or more employees, a public posting must include the expected pay or pay range, say whether the job is actually open now, and say whether AI is used to screen or select applicants. Postings can't ask for "Canadian experience". You also need to let interviewed applicants know whether a decision has been made, within 45 days of their last interview. Our job briefs are written with these rules in mind, but your lawyer or HR advisor has the final word on your own postings and contracts.

Ontario also expects employers to give new hires some basics in writing early on, such as the starting wage, pay period, pay day and expected hours. We will remind you, and the employment terms themselves stay between you and your new employee.

How it works

  1. Free hiring call. Fifteen minutes on the role, the pay range, the hours, and what a good first month looks like.
  2. Brief and search. We agree a written brief, then source from our talent network, job boards and referrals.
  3. Screening. We check each person against the real tasks of the job: software they have used, the volume of work, how they communicate.
  4. Shortlist and interviews. You meet a short list of people with notes on each. We book the interviews around your calendar.
  5. Offer and start. You decide who to hire. We help with the offer and check in after the start date.

Why Mississauga employers use a Brampton agency

We are close enough to visit and small enough that you deal with one person from the first call to the start date. Many of the candidates in our network already live in Peel Region and know the commute to Mississauga, which matters for on-site roles. For remote roles, location barely matters at all.

Staffira also works with employers in Brampton, Toronto, Vaughan and the rest of Ontario, and in the United States.
